THE COWTOWN HALF MARATHON

FEBUARY 2011

First time ever that I ran a race and I didn't

have anyone waiting for me at the finish line.

SIZZLING SUMMER HALF MARATHON

JULY 2011

First time I ever ran a race in 105 degrees and

first time Boston ever crossed the finish line with me.

It was really pretty runing through the

Kate Trail. I think I ran more the 13.1 miles

the race wasn't marked very well. The best part of the race

was when I came around the corner and saw Teresa

and Boston waiting for me. I was so surprised to see them.

 

HOBBLE CREEK HALF MARATHON

August 2011

First time Kelsey ever ran a half marathon and first time

a family member ever ran one with me. I flew to Utah to

run this race with Kelsey. I taught him how to get ready

for a race. The night before Carb dinner. Good breakfast.

He didn't train really and ended up taking 3rd place in his

age group. Whats up with that?

DALLAS TURKEY TROT

November 2011

First time ever that I had a family member run a Thanksgiving

race with me. It was so much fun. The race wasn't marked very well so

we both took a wrong turn and ended up running 10 miles instead

of the 8 we were suppose to run.

DECEMBER 2011

First time I ran 4 Half Marathon's in one year.
First time that I met my whole New Years Resolution.
As I was driving to the race I kept thinking what am I doing.
I couldn't even see out of my car it was
raining so hard. It didn't even stop raining the entire race.
Thank heavens for my winter running
clothes I had kept from my running days
in Utah.
